Signs and lighting make it easy to know where to park, how to find the showers and which yurt is yours. The robes for us to use to and from the showers and a large water jug with fresh spring water were classy touches. Showers were brilliant-sufficiently hot and plenty of water

The hot tub was undoubtedly the best I have ever been in.

This place is magical. You are secluded and hidden away but still only minutes to shopping and dining in Placerville and some amazing outdoor adventures nearby.

Second stay at Reverie Retreat was just as perfect as the first. The Blackberry Yurt is only very slightly smaller than the Sunset Yurt…but just as comfortable and serene. The surrounding area is a piece of heaven, with forest trails, vineyards and farms to be discovered. Highly recommend!

We loved staying in the yurt! The space was clean, quiet, and perfectly minimalist.

The cottage is a perfect getaway for a couple or two friends. Nestled in the woods, it has everything you need to have a relaxing stay in the Sierra Foothills. I appreciated the interior design: environmentally conscious and streamlined with a soothing color scheme and quality materials. The bed was SUPER comfy!

The cottage was relatively secluded so we felt as though we had plenty of privacy, we used the grill to cook every meal (all cooking utensils were well stocked, along with a one pot burner, coffee maker, fridge, and microwave), the bed was very comfortable, and the entire cottage was super clean. There were little thoughtful amenities that made our stay even better (like a leash for my dog so she could wander freely outside, plastic wine glasses we could take to the pool, and plenty of furniture for us to relax indoors/outdoors).

Lush and beautiful, with towering 100+ year old oaks and a diverse array of other foliage making for peaceful walks and beautiful views.

Our first yurt experience was nothing short of wonderful - we enjoyed roaming around the property, spent some time on the hammock, watched the beautiful sunset from the lookout point, and ran into cute deer on our walk.

Breathtakingly beautiful drive on Hwy 193 to idyllic property with a cozy, well-appointed cabin in the woods. Comfortable bed, great shower and very quiet. I loved this place.

The yurt is both comfortable and well styled inside, and we had everything we needed for a couple great nights in the mountains!

The entire experience exceeded all our expectations and our only regret was that we didn't stay longer. The compost toilet was awesome, not smelly at all!

The attached compost toilet was awesome (first time using one, no smell at all), and the fans kept the yurt super cool at night. Queen bed was incredibly comfy. Overall, it truly felt not just like a spot to sleep, but a completely pampering and private retreat experience.
